1. Agreement
These terms govern the use of this website and, together with an individual engagement letter, the services provided by Lindqvist & Co. By using the site or engaging us you accept them. This is template text — have your own terms reviewed by a lawyer before publishing.
2. Services
We provide tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, planning, and advisory services as described in each client’s engagement letter. The engagement letter defines the exact scope; nothing on this website constitutes tax or legal advice for your individual situation.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are fixed and agreed in writing before work begins. Invoices are due within 14 days. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it — we do not bill surprise hours.
4. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide complete and accurate records, respond to document requests in reasonable time, and inform us of anything that materially affects your tax position. Deadlines we commit to assume timely delivery of your documents.
5. Confidentiality
Everything you share with us is confidential and protected by professional secrecy obligations. We disclose information only with your instruction or where the law requires it.
6. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim, except where the law does not allow such a limit. We carry professional indemnity insurance appropriate to our practice.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, design, and graphics — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without permission. Deliverables we prepare for you belong to you once paid for.
8. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. You pay for work performed up to that point; we hand over your records and files in an orderly way and remain bound by confidentiality.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction — set this to the correct country and venue before publishing. If any clause is found invalid, the rest remain in force.
